ME2 - Thematic Workshop: SESBA – a new opportunity for business advisors’ training in the field of social economy/entrepreneurship
The second multiplier event relating to the SESBA project was held in the format of a thematic workshop. This was held at the Hilltop Gardens, Naxxar Malta on Tuesday, 28th November 2017 and was attended by 34 participants from various sectors including business advisors.
The half day event started at 09:00hrs with registration and a welcome coffee. Maryrose gave a keynote speech whereby she explained the concept of the project and the necessity of this workshop. The first intervention was given by Anita Aloisio, a business advisor by profession. The title of the keynote speech was Challenges when advising social entrepreneurs (a real story of a business advisor).
The second part of the event started with Peter Meadley giving a hands on introduction to the training portal. The participants had a chance to ask questions about the training portal and the discussion continued throughout the coffee break.
Angele Giuliano gave a presentation about the different modules and focused on the tool kit and the eight techniques. Maryrose Francica gave a presentation about exploiting the opportunities of SESBA Training program and portal. In fact, this turned out to be a lively interactive session between all present. The conclusions of the day were presented to the participants and the event ended with a networking lunch.
