Business consulting for social enterprises: tools and resources for business advisers

To present the activities of the SESBA project and to show the main products realized by the project: the Techniques toolkit, the training course and the training portal for business advisers. These were the main objectives of the workshop organized under the SESBA project ‘Business consulting for social enterprises: tools and resources for business advisers’ held on the 17th of December 2017 at Programma integra in Rome.

The project SESBA - Social Enterprise Skills for Business Advisers, co-funded by Erasmus+ Program, started in September 2016 and will close in August 2018. Its main objective is to develop training materials addressed at business advisors that want to provide their services to social enterprises. The project is managed by a partnership made up of 7 organizations from 6 different EU countries. Programma integra participates at the project as Italian partner.

The workshop, arranged in Rome, was the occasion to present the main products realized by the project during 2017:
The Techniques toolkit for business advisers
The training course for business advisers interested in social enterprises
The training portal

During the Italian workshop there were interesting speeches on social innovation and business consulting addressed at social enterprises made by local stakeholders:
▪ Luigi Corvo, Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics - University of Rome Tor Vergata.
▪ Luca Calisi, Project manager at ULIS social cooperative that is an organization involved in the business consulting addressed at social enterprises.
